The following are examples of how eXRAD has been used to bring business value to Ioxis customers....

Case Study 1 - Order Processing Application for Water Sports Retailer

This client is a leading retailer of water sports equipment. They had a number of paper-based processes to support non-standard orders and service offerings. In the process of upgrading their web presence, they wanted to capitalise on the available technology by migrating these paper-based processes to web-based automated systems, accessible from all of their retail locations.

From a rough data model and two pages of high-level requirements, Ioxis delivered an application to capture and process "special orders" - requests for non-standard items of stock. The application was completed and demonstrated to the customer within a week of the receipt of their requirements.

Case Study 2 - Contact Management application for an IT Consultancy

This company is a software services company with an international salesforce. They were using an in-house contact management application to capture and share customer information between people and geographies. Despite the built-in facilities for remote access, there was clearly a need for a secure contact management database which could be accessed from anywhere, via the internet.

Ioxis took their existing in-house contact management application and web-enabled it using eXRAD in 2 days.

Case Study 3 - Technical Asset Register for a global investment bank

The client is a leader in investment banking, asset management, private equity, custody and transaction services, middle market financial services, and e-finance. They had a requirement to automate the management of technical assets across all of their internal locations worldwide. Their existing processes for managing these assets were extremely cumbersome, with data scattered randomly between spreadsheets and presentations.

Their requirement was to build a register of software in use across the enterprise, tracking information on software products, availability, dependencies, product managers and approved packages. As well as maintaining information, it was also necessary to make this information available via an intranet application to internal customers in all locations.

Three days after receiving the required database design and requirement, we were able to deliver the complete application, consisting of some 30 pages. Within three weeks it was deployed and operational on the bank's Websphere™ and Oracle™ server environment.
