From a technical perspective, eXRAD meets a number of important objectives:
Enables the rapid delivery of "common" database functionality in web applications
Eliminates or reduces the need to write program code
Drastically reduces the level of skill required to deliver such applications
Avoids the need to deploy new middleware
Complements, rather than replaces, other methods of delivering web database applications
